Operation Song® and Frontline Healing Foundation’s inaugural Warrior’s Picnic was a moving and memorable event for all with performances from songwriters Josh Grider, Jamie Floyd, and Tom McElvain.

Operation Song was featured on the Aug 3 segment of Veterans Radio with Zach Harrison and Jessee Lee with their song, “That Kid Again.”

On July 22nd, Operation Song participated in the Morgan Farms 2nd annual “Rock The Block,” a neighborhood pool party featuring Operation Song and other musical guests.

Our New Music Monday, "This Life," is actually the song that will be performed during the Let Freedom Sing event in downtown Nashville on July 4th.

Veterans Radio host Dale Throneberry featured the song from Operation Song® titled “THIS LIFE,” written by Josh and Kelly Brenneman along with Songwriters Peter Sallis and Jamie Floyd.

We share the story of the late veteran Mugg Pawless, who served on Omaha Beach in the D-Day invasion during World War II.

Operation Song® conducted its first retreat with the VA Veterans Home in Walla Walla, Washington on June 21, 2023. Funded through a grant provided to the VA, this retreat allowed us to bring three Songwriters out west for a one-day retreat.

Operation Song® remembers WWII veteran Bob Plummer. His passing is hard, but we have a wonderful song from him that we would love to share with you.

As part of our WWII Preservation Project, Operation Song®, with the help of Shannon Fontaine, created the “Good Co-Pilot, Richard Stroud Story,” which was accepted by the San Diego Film Festival and nominated for Best short Documentary.

Operation Song® conducted its eighth retreat with the Veterans and First Responders of Warriors Heart in Bandera, Texas. The mix of Nashville and Texas songwriters were paired with seven participants who produced amazing songs of courage and determination.

“The Fighter,” written with a veteran at Alvin C. York Veterans' Administration Medical Center with songwriter Jamie Floyd, is a song that aims to help veterans fighting the battle within them after returning home.

Operation Song® conducted its first Troopers Assisting Troops Retreat & combination fundraiser, Nashville’s Salute to the Troops, held May 10-11, 2023. The event was held in beautiful Clayton, NY at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel.
